2003 Update on Volume Three 8/13/2003 APNEWSWIRE reports that Stan "is working on Volume 3 of 'Stan Freberg Presents The United States of America,' his magnum opus.  Called the forerunner of the modern comedy album, it began with the 1961 release of Grammy-winning 'Volume I,' (sic) followed in 1996 by Grammy-nominated 'Volume II.'" 2006 Update on Volume Three At last report, Stan Freberg was working on Volume Three of the United States of America.  He had gotten through the Great Depression and was as far as MacArthur at Corregidor, when he paused his work at the request of Rhino Records. 2008 Update on Volume Three Stan mentioned in passing that he hopes to include Susan B.
